Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Investigators responded to a shooting death and wounding of another. The incident was reported Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at approximately 11:51 a.m., on the 1400 block of West 126^th Street in unincorporated Los Angeles.

Detectives have learned deputies responded to a gun shots fired call for service. When they arrived, they observed a man in the driver seat of a vehicle suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso. A second victim (female) in the passenger seat was grazed by gunfire.

The first victim is a male Black 29 years-old. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second victim is a female Black 38 years-old. She was transported to a local hospital where she was treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is a male Black. The motive is unknown.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to a shooting death investigation and wounding of another. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at approximately 11:31 a.m., on the 1400 block of 126^th Street in unincorporated Los Angeles.
 
The male adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The female adult victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries.
