6:33 PM: Officer Kapu responded to a report of two subjects in a physical altercation in the 37000 block of Filbert St. Upon arrival, Officer Kapu made contact and arrested a 26-year old male out of Newark for theft of personal property and an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Fremont Jail.

12:27 AM: Officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary in progress in the 5000 block of McDonald Ave. Upon arrival officers made contact and arrested a 38-year old male for charges including vandalizing personal property and probation violation. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

6:07 PM: Officer Torres accepted a citizen’s arrest of in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd for shoplifting. Officer Torres issued a 44-year old female out of Fremont a citation and released her.
 
6:54 PM: Officer Riddles responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred in the 5000 block of Mowry School Road. Loss was a purse.
 
8:18 PM: Officer Slavazza made a traffic enforcement stop in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave. A 23-year old male out of Newark was arrested for reckless driving. He was cited and released and the vehicle was towed.

2:05 PM: Officers responded to the 5000 block of McDonald Ave for a report of vandalism. Upon arrival officers made contact and arrested a 38-year old male for charges including vandalism and probation violation. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

12:27 PM: Officers responded to the a report of reckless driving in the 35000 block of Cedar Blvd. Officers made contact and arrested a 24-year old male out for reckless driving. He was cited and released and the vehicle was towed.

5:00 AM: Officer Karrick investigated a vehicle theft in the 35000 block of Lido Blvd. The victim vehicle was a 2002 GMC Sierra Pickup. On 4/8/2021 the vehicle was recovered in Hayward.
 
9:08 AM: Officer Palacio investigated a theft of a moving van in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd that occurred sometime overnight. On 4/8/2021 the vehicle was recovered in Hayward.
9:25 AM: Officer Losier was dispatched to investigate a report of a strong armed robbery that had just occurred in the 6000 block of Jarvis Ave. Loss was a purse.

9:40 AM: Officer McCuin investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 39000 block of Balentine Dr that occurred sometime in the last day.
9:40 AM: Officer Swadener investigated an auto burglary which occurred overnight in the area of Central Ave and Timber St. The loss was determined to be $2,000 worth of tools taken from locked toolboxes.
 
10:36 AM: Officer Horst investigated the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle that occurred over the weekend.

10:43 PM: Officer Kapu investigated a vehicle theft that occurred in the 6000 block of Joaquin Murieta Ave. The victim vehicle was a 2002 Ford F350. On 4/9/2021 the vehicle was recovered in Hayward.

4:10 AM: Officer Losier was dispatched to a report of a suspicious activity described as a subject attempting to enter a business in the 7000 block of Thornton Ave. The subject fled prior to officer arrival.

8:09 AM: Officers responded to a report of an unwanted guest in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Upon arrival officers made contact and arrested a 60-year old male for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
7:26 PM: During an investigation on a call for service, Officers made contact and arrested a 22-year old female out of Newark for an outstanding warrant. She was cited and released.

7:35 AM: Officer Rivas investigated a report of a theft from locked storage boxes that occurred sometime over the weekend in the 5000 block of John Muir Drive. Loss was $6,000 worth of tools.
8:18 AM: Officer Soto responded to the 39000 block of South Darner Drive to investigate a report of a cold burglary that occurred over the weekend. Loss was determined to be $3,000 worth of construction materials.
 
10:14 AM: Officer Soto was dispatched to the NPD lobby for a self-surrender. Officer Soto arrested a 24-year old male out of Fremont for an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released.

6:55 AM: Officer Palacio responded to a report of a vehicle theft in the 7000 block of Crestmont Ave that occurred sometime overnight.
11:20 AM:  Officer Knutson investigated a report of a cold theft from a storage unit in the 7000 block of Clark Ave. Theft occurred sometime over the weekend. Loss was determined to be $30,000 worth of aviation specialty tools.
 
12:18 PM: Officer Loiser was dispatched to the NPD lobby for a self surrender. Officer Loiser arrested a 51-year old male out of Newark for an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released.
 
6:14 PM: Officers responded to a report of a theft that had just occurred in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Officers made contact and arrested a 32-year old male out of Oakland. He was cited and released.

6:52 AM: Officer McCuin investigated a report of a cold theft of a trailer and the burglary of another trailer in the area of Newark Blvd and Mayhews Landing Rd that occurred overnight. The victim vehicle was recovered later in the day in San Jose. Loss was determined to be $30,000 worth of materials.
8:06 AM: Officer Hernandez investigated a report of a cold burglary to a trailer in the area of Cherry St and Stevenson Blvd that occurred overnight. Loss was $3,000 worth of materials.
 
10:06 AM: Officer Horst investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 7000 block of Crestmont Ave that occurred sometime overnight. The victim vehicle was a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle. On 4/17/2021 the vehicle was recovered in Oakland.
 
5:19 PM: Officer Kapu investigated a report of a male subject causing a disturbance in the 37000 block of Filbert St. Upon arrival, Officer Kapu made contact and arrested a 45-year old male out for two outstanding warrants. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

11:02: Officer Johnson initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Cedar Boulevard and Lafayette Avenue for speeding. Officer Johnson made contact and arrested a 40-year old male out of Antioch for driving with a suspended license and false identification to a police officer. Vehicle was towed and the subject was booked at Fremont Jail.
7:02 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a theft of a catalytic converter in the 39000 block of Parada St. Victim vehicle was a 2016 Honda CRV.
7:20 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a cold burglary in the 6000 block of Zulmida Ave. No loss reported at this time.
7:39 PM: Officer Kapu responded to a report of a disturbance in the 34000 block of Newark Blvd. Officer Kapu made contact and arrested a 30- year old male out of Fremont for being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:23 PM: Officer Frentescu located a stolen vehicle in the area of Cherry St and Buena Vista Dr.
