* At 800 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of Slagle, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Glenmora, Boyce, Hineston, Fort Polk, Slagle, Lacamp, Fullerton, Hutton, Clifton, Flatwoods, Otis, Elmer, Leander, Sieper, Gardner, Cravens, Calcasieu, Simpson, Mcnary and Union Hill. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 98 and 107.
* AFFECTED AREAS: RAPIDES, LA ... VERNON, LA
