Narrative:
On April 22, 2021, members of the Ventura County Post Release Offender Supervision (PROS) Unit and Ventura Police Department (VPD) located & arrested three subjects for firearms and narcotics violations at the La Quinta Inn located at 5818 Valentine Road in Ventura. One of the suspects was also arrested for domestic violence (pic and jail booking photos attached).

On April 19, 2021, Post Release Offender (S) Austin Coulter was involved in a domestic violence incident with a female victim in the City of Ventura. Ventura Police Department officers determined there was probable cause to arrest Coulter for felony domestic violence and felony dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.

The PROS Unit and VPD officers located Coulter staying at a room at the La Quinta Inn in Ventura. Coulter was arrested for the domestic violence incident and a flash incarceration hold was placed on him due to a violation of his post release supervision conditions.
Officers contacted (S) Martin Ipatzi and (S) Angel Edwardson at the motel room.  They determined Ipatzi was a convicted felon and Edwardson was currently on local probation, with search terms, for forgery and narcotics offenses.  Officers searched the room and located a loaded handgun, ammunition, methamphetamine, and narcotics paraphernalia.

Coulter was booked into the Ventura County Jail for felony domestic violence, prohibited person in possession of a firearm and ammunition, obstructing/delaying an investigation, and a PROS hold. Ipatzi and Edwardson were booked into the Ventura County Jail for firearm, ammunition, and narcotics charges.
