* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern Meriwether County in west central Georgia... Troup County in west central Georgia... Northwestern Harris County in west central Georgia...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 531 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lanett Municipal Airport, or near Valley, moving northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... LaGrange, Greenville, West Point, Hogansville, Luthersville, Lone Oak, River View, Southern Harbor, Mountville, Cannonville, Louise, Odessadale, Rocky Point, Stovall, Piedmont Heights, Harrisonville, Hillcrest, Big Springs, Wares Crossroads and Rocky Mount.
