Advisory

REMINDER: PARKING ENFORCEMENT WILL RESUME ON SATURDAY, MAY 1, 2021

The Arcadia Police Department will resume enforcement of the City’s Overnight Parking ordinance and Street Sweeping parking restrictions effective Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Parking on Arcadia public streets is restricted daily between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. without a permit.  Large vehicles with a gross weight of 6,000 lbs. or higher are always prohibited from parking on any city street between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. unless permission is obtained from the police department.  Residents or business owners who may need to park a large vehicle on a City street during the restricted hours must receive prior authorization from the Police Department’s Watch Commander.  The Watch Commander can be contacted directly at (626) 574-5156 (24/7).

Street sweeping enforcement only applies to those streets that have posted “No Parking – Street Sweeping” signs, which indicate specific days of the week and times of day when no parking is allowed.

The City of Arcadia is now accepting Annual Overnight Parking Permit Applications online. For your convenience and to help limit the spread of COVID-19, the City of Arcadia – Cashier’s Office is offering contactless online payments. Upon completion, you will be able to print a 30-day temporary permit. It will take approximately 7-10 business days to process and mail your permanent parking sticker.

Annual Parking Permit Applications can also be completed in-person at the Cashier’s Desk located at City Hall, 240 W. Huntington Drive. The City is adhering to all COVID-19 safety precautions including temperature checks at the door and social distancing. Face masks are mandatory. As a reminder, if you are sick, not feeling well, or have any symptoms, we ask that you do not come in-person. If you have any questions, please call (626) 574-5465 or email [email protected].

Beginning Friday April 30, 2021, temporary overnight parking permits can be purchased online or in person in the Arcadia Police Department (250 W. Huntington Drive) at the Temporary Overnight Parking Enforcement Kiosk (“TOPEK”).  The TOPEK machine is located in the Police Department’s parking lot off of eastbound Huntington Drive.   Temporary overnight parking permits can be purchased for periods of time ranging from 1-day to 5-days if needed.
