INCIDENT: Possession of Stolen Property / Conspiracy / Grand Theft
 
LOCATION: 12800 block of 6^th Street., Yucaipa
 
SUSPECT(S): Angel Guzman 22-years-old, resident of Calimesa
                        Dezron Daniel 27-years-old, resident of Colton
                        Anthony Totoro 23-years-old, resident of Yucaipa
 
 
VICTIM(S): Multiple Victims from Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel Laughlin, NV
 
 
SUMMARY: On April 22, 2021, deputies responded to a report of suspicious circumstances at a residence in the 12800 block of 6th. Street.  Guzman, Daniel, and Totoro were contacted at the location while in the driveway of the residence. Upon contact, deputies observed multiple sawed-off catalytic converters in the trunk of a vehicle. Evidence of cutting instruments and additional catalytic converters were observed throughout the property. A search warrant was subsequently served at the residence for evidence pertaining to the crime being investigated.
 
Through investigation, deputies learned the three suspects had just returned to Yucaipa from Laughlin. Laughlin authorities had taken multiple catalytic converter theft reports which were directly linked to the suspects. After a search of the residence, several catalytic converters, cutting instruments, and drug paraphernalia were seized. All three suspects were arrested and transported to the Central Detention Center for booking.
