Flood Warning until 03:45PM Thursday

At 1205 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated gages reported that one to three inches of rain fell across the region on Wednesday. This has caused residual flooding of low lying areas. An additional one to three inches may fall overnight and early Thursday leading to continued flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... West Plains, Mountain Grove, Mountain View, Thayer, Willow Springs, Houston, Licking and Cabool. This includes the following low water crossings... Route U, 6 miles east of Willow Springs, Route U at The Jacks Fork 2 miles northwest of Clear Springs, Route Y, 4 miles northwest of Mountain View, Route KK at Gladden Creek just north of Akers, Route MM south of Birch Tree, Route H, 3 miles east of Winona and Highway 99 at Middle Fork south of Thomasville.

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
