* At 1104 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Southeastern College Station, Conroe, Huntsville, Brenham, Humble, Tomball, northern Liberty, Cleveland, Jersey Village, Dayton, Navasota, Hempstead, Willis, Livingston, Pinehurst, The Woodlands, Spring, Kingwood, Greater Greenspoint and Aldine. Rain is expected to diminish and hourly rainfall rates should remain between 0.25 and 0.50 inches per hour. Water will slowly recede but motorists should remain alert for water covered roadways.
