On Thursday, April 22, 2021, at approximately 6:54 AM, the Middle Township Emergency Communications received a 9-1-1 call from the victim, 27-year-old Zackea Parker of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, stating he was being chased and assaulted by subjects that were inside a red Subaru in the area of Route 9 and Route 147.  Patrol units responded and located a vehicle matching the description provided on New Jersey Avenue, in the Burleigh section of Middle Township, occupied by four (4) subjects.  They were detained for investigative purposes.  The accused parties were identified as 19-year-old Christopher Diantonio of Wildwood, New Jersey, 24-year-old David Flanders of Del Haven, New Jersey, 27-year-old Josue Montalvo from Wildwood, New Jersey, and 21-year-old Daekwon Summers of Atlantic City, New Jersey.  They were arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were charged with multiple offenses to include aggravated assault, a 2^nd degree crime, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, a 2^nd degree crime, and hindering, a 3^rd degree crime.   All four accused parties were lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Facility.  Members of the Middle Township Major Crimes Unit assisted with the investigation.
