* At 1148 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Junction, or 7 miles north of Merryville, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near... Rosepine around 1210 PM CDT. Fort Polk around 1215 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Evans and Pickering.
