On March 28, 2021 suspects identified by Homicide Detecives as Scott Tomlin, Sarah Johnson, Amber Vorhies, and Segaro Benton, were  involved in a murder where a man was shot twice in the chest and twice in the head on Anvil Block Rd.

The body of the victim was not found until 04/21/2021 by Homicide Detectives after following up leads on the missing victim. The body of the victim appeared to have an attempt made to burn and cut it up.  Yesterday evening after a thorough investigation, murder warrants were obtained for Scott Tomlin, Sarah Johnson, Amber Vorhies, and Segaro Benton by Clayton County Police Homicide Detectives.

Sheriff Victor Hill called in his elite Fugitive Squad last night to bring all four of the suspects in before sunrise.  Tomlin and Johnson were found to already be in custody at the Henry County Jail on unrelated charges.   Vorhies and Benton we're captured last night without incident in an abandoned trailer.

While murders are now down 24% in Clayton County, Vorhies and Benton are now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail with Tomlin and Johnson soon to join them at “The Hill-ton”.
