Deputies arrested Michael Finnicum of Corona for carrying a loaded firearm in public

LOCATION: 1300 block of Sherman Street, Needles
SUSPECT: Michael Finnicum, 41 years old, resident of Corona, CA
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, May 6, 2021, deputies from the Needles Sheriff Station responded to the 1300 block of Sherman Street, in the City of Needles, for a report of a male subject knocking on doors in the area with a gun in his hand.
When deputies arrived, they found the suspect, identified as Michael Finnicum, walking down Sherman Street with a handgun tucked in his waistband. Finnicum refused to follow deputies repeated commands at scene and was subsequently aprehended by use of a less lethal taser. Finnicum was arrested and booked at the Colorado River Station Jail for PC 25850(a), carrying a loaded firearm in public.
