Three suspects arrested for mail theft in two separate incidents this afternoon. 
In two separate incidents this afternoon, Arcadia Police Department officers took three persons into custody for mail theft. At about 2:25PM a resident in the 00 Block of West Palm Drive observed a male and a female opening mailboxes and removing mail from them. About ten minutes later, in the 1200 Block of South Santa Anita Avenue, an officer observed a male removing mail from numerous mailboxes in the area along South Santa Anita Avenue. The two suspects from West Palm Drive are transients out of El Monte and the suspect from South Santa Anita Avenue is from Sunland. All three were arrested, transported to the Arcadia Police Department, and released into the custody of jail services.
