On Friday, May 7, 2021 at about 2:00 p.m. a male suspect approached a 15-year-old H.S. 1327 student (formerly “Sir Francis Drake High School”) in the area of the high school and attempted to lure the student into a vehicle.  The male suspect told the student that he was contacted by the student’s parents and told to pick the student up after school.  The student disregarded the suspect’s claims and suspect then left the area.
 
The suspect was described as a white male adult, about six feet tall with a muscular build.  He was wearing a black hat, ”aviator” style sunglasses, a light-colored plaid shirt and black military style boots.  The suspect had a tattoo on his forearm. The suspect was further identified as being un-kept.  The suspect’s vehicle was described as a possible black Honda Accord or something similar.
 
Please remind your children to be aware of their surroundings and to not accept rides from strangers.  Please report any suspicious circumstances to the Central Marin Police Authority.  In addition, if you observed this incident or have any further information about the incident or suspect, please contact the Central Marin Police at (415) 927-5150.
