Oakland City woman arrested on DUI charge. 
On May 10, 2021, at 10:45 p.m., Deputy Bryce Jutzi was traveling northbound on State Road 57 near County Road 100 South when he observed a Silver Lincoln Sedan failing to maintain their lane of travel. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Jutzi detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver 42-year-old Heidi Hill of Oakland City. At that point Deputy Jutzi began a roadside DUI investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation Ms. Hill was transported to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. She remains in custody on a $650 bond.
Assisting Deputy Jutzi in his investigation was Deputy Loren Barchett and Oakland City Officer John Pace.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
