Parents or guardians can register youth, ages 11-15 or entering 6th Grade, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the East Mesa Public Safety Complex. Youth can enroll in only one of the six summer sessions.

Each camp session is limited to 25 students.

  • Session 1: June 1-4.
  • Session 2: June 7-11.
  • Session 3: June 21-25.
  • Session 4: June 28-July 2.
  • Session 5: July 19-23.
  • Session 6: July 26-July 30.

The Youth Leadership Summer Camp will run from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day at Lynn Middle School. The camp will follow Covid-19 safety protocols. Participants will have their temperature checked daily. Handwashing and hand sanitizer will be available. Campers will also be provided with a face mask and sanitary gloves.

The camp provides youth with CPR and First Aid training, teamwork building, archery, crime scene investigation, D.A.R.E. and DWI simulations, anti-bullying and harassment lessons and other activities similar to the Character Counts module. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day, and participants will receive a free camp T-shirt.
