The San Leandro Police Department has been made aware of a fictitious Facebook account using the SLPD logo and under the name of Acting Chief Luis Torres.  Posting on this account describes a recent robbery on Acapulco Road with inaccurate details.
 
Any messaging from Acting Chief Torres will solely be delivered through SLPD's official Facebook account, "San Leandro Police Department." We are currently working with Facebook to disable this account.
