RIPON RECYCLING CENTER - SCHEDULE CHANGES
Starting Monday, May 17, 2021, the Ripon Recycling Center will have new operating hours. The Ripon Recycling Center will be open on the following days and hours for Residential and Commercial recycling:
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, and THURSDAY FROM 4:00PM – 6:00PM
TUESDAY FROM 10:00AM - 12:00PM
SATURDAY FROM 8:00AM – 12:00PM
The Recycling Center will be closed on all major holidays.
The following are the rules that will be in place at the Ripon Recycling Center:
- Enter at the northern driveway
- Remain in your car until it is your turn to unload your recyclable material
- Ripon Residents & Businesses only at this time
- Residents/Businesses must unload all material into proper container
- The following are recyclables that are accepted at this time:
- Cardboard, must be clean and free of trash
- TVs & Screens, must be loaded directly into container
- Plastics
- Glass
- Mixed Paper
- Newspaper
- Styrofoam
- CRV (Aluminum Cans and Plastic Bottles)
Illegally dumping items at the Recycling Center outside of the posted hours of operation will result in a citation for violating the Ripon Municipal Code and will include a minimum fine of $1,000 up to a maximum of $10,000.
