Update on Bear on Tamalpais Ave 7:20 pm 
CA Dept of Fish and Wildlife, Marin Municipal Water District Rangers, Marin Humane, Ross Valley FD, and CMPA are on the scene. Fish and Wildlife have developed a plan to allow the bear to come to down on his own and then momitor his path back to open space.
All residents on Tamalpais Ave are asked to shelter in place, with their doors, windows, and garage doors closed. The road is closed to all vehicle and foot traffic and all pedestrians have been directed out of the area.
The well-being of both the public and the bear is our priority.
Please do not respond to the area and do not call 9-1-1.
