On Saturday, May 15, 2021 at approximately 10:18 a.m., Sunnyvale Public Safety Officers responded to the 600 block of Tasman Drive for a report of a possible shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers located the victim and immediately provided medical aid. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Witnesses on scene reported hearing multiple gun shots and the victim running from the area. The victim has been identified as a 31-year-old male resident of Sunnyvale.
The suspect, 32-year-old Sunnyvale resident Natig Manashirov, was located by Sunnyvale officers and placed under arrest. Suspect Natig Manashirov was later booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for Murder, violation of penal code 187 PC.
