Full Notification

On 05/16/21, at approximately 12:02 AM, Arcadia Police Officers responded to the 200 Block of Arbolada Drive for a mail theft in progress. Officers arrived in the area and located a suspicious vehicle driving away. A traffic stop was conducted and the two occupants, husband and wife, were detained. The investigation revealed the couple were in possession of several pieces of mail belonging to residents from the City of Arcadia. The couple also possessed personal identifying information (e.g., ID cards, addresses, bank accounts numbers, and bank checks) used to facilitate identity theft related crimes. Both were arrested and transported to the Arcadia PD Jail, where they were booked for mail theft and identity theft.
