Traffic update! Construction starts on N. Woodland Ave tomorrow, starting with the closure of phase 1: Shoal Creek Pkwy to NE 111th St. 
N. Woodland Avenue will be improved to a 2-lane parkway with a center median from Shoal Creek Parkway to NE 111th Terrace. The improvements will include curb and gutter, sidewalks, streetlights, and street trees. Project construction is managed by Hunt Midwest.
Construction will begin on May 18th, 2021, starting with the closure of Phase 1, N. Woodland Avenue from Shoal Creek Parkway to NE 111th Street.
Phase 2 will improve N. Woodland from NE 111th St. to NE 111th Terrace. Once construction is complete, estimated in winter 2022, the road will be renamed "Maplewoods Parkway."
