Fitbit Partners with SLPD to Replace Victim's Watchband 
On May 8th, an elderly Asian male was robbed of his Fitbit watch band.
On May 12th, SLPD Detectives arrested 11 and 17-year-old juveniles in connection with the robbery. Because of the outpouring of support from community members and media coverage this crime garnered, Fitbit Inc. reached out and offered to replace the victim's workout band.
On May 18th, SLPD Detectives met with the victim and his son to present him with his new workout band.
We wanted to thank Fitbit Inc. for partnering with SLPD and relacing the victim's stolen item.
