Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Team Recap May 13th and 14th 2021
On May 13th and 14th, 2021, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Unit served four unrelated search warrants for illegal marijuana cultivation in Calaveras County.
On May 13th, 2021, a search warrant was served in the 3000 block of Tree Lane in Wilseyville. Deputies seized 765 growing marijuana plants and 6 pounds of processed marijuana with a combined estimated value exceeding $539,000. No suspects were contacted at the scene. Evidence was collected and the investigation is ongoing.
Also on May 13th, 2021, an unrelated search warrant was served in the 11000 block of Pattison Road in Wallace. Deputies seized 367 growing marijuana plants with an estimated value exceeding $256,000. Additionally, three firearms were seized and one suspect was issued a citation.
Miguel Linarez, age 58, was issued a citation on charges of 11358 H&S Illegal Marijuana Cultivation and 182 PC Conspiracy to Commit Crime.
On May 14th, 2021, a search warrant was served in the 10000 block of Ham Luddy Lane in Mountain Ranch. Deputies seized 1,996 growing marijuana plants with an estimated value exceeding $1,397,000. No suspects were contacted at the scene. Evidence was collected and the investigation is ongoing.
Also on May 14th, 2021, an unrelated search warrant was served in the 9500 block of Mountain Ranch Road in Mountain Ranch. Deputies seized 1,989 growing marijuana plants with an estimated value exceeding $1,328,000. Additionally, one firearm was seized and one suspect was placed under arrest. Calaveras County Code Compliance responded to the site to address hazardous electrical issues inside the residence and unpermitted structures. Additionally, Child Protective Services was called to the scene to address child safety concerns.
Theav On, age 31 of Stockton, California, was booked into the Calaveras County Jail on charges of 11358 H&S Illegal Marijuana Cultivation, 11359 H&S Possession of Marijuana for Sale, 11366 H&S Maintaining a Premises for Sales of a Controlled Substance, 182 PC Conspiracy to Commit Crime, and 273a PC Willful Cruelty to a Child.
