Due to construction delays and in an effort to minimize traffic disruption during the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, Monmouth County is opening up Navesink River Rd for the summer months. Construction will resume in the Fall at an unspecified time. Repairs to the bridge are necessary due to normal road use but the bridge is currently structurally sound.
