WARNING OF TOWN MEETING

The residents of the Town of Sherman are hereby warned and notified that a Town Meeting will be held via ZOOM on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 10am to act upon the following matters:

To present the Board of Education budget recommended by the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Education for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021. 1) Shall the Board of Education Budget of $9,319,821, as amended and proposed by the Board of Selectmen, acting as the Board of Finance, for the year 7/1/2021 through 6/30/2022, be approved? “Yes” or “No”.

NOTICE OF REFERENDUM
Resolution Number 1 above has been removed from the call of the meeting by the Board of Selectmen as per Section 7-7 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The Moderator shall adjourn the Town Meeting at its conclusion and the above Resolution shall be submitted to a referendum vote on the voting machines or paper ballots by Town electors and qualified voters for approval or disapproval on Saturday, June 5, 2021 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM at Charter Hall in the Emergency Services Facility.
