Synopsis:
A San Bernardino man is in custody for attempted homicide against his co-worker. On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at approximately 2000 hours, Arellano had an argument with the victim in the parking lot of their workplace. The argument escalated and the victim was shot by Arellano.
On Wednesday, May 19, 2021, detectives and officers from the Rialto Police Department's Street Crime Attack Team (SCAT), located Arellano near his residence in the city of San Bernardino. Arellano was taken into custody at 11:40 a.m. without incident and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for attempted murder. He is currently being held on a $100,000 bail.
