On Thursday, May 20, 2021, at approximately 10:07 p.m., the Rialto Police Department received several 9-1-1 calls reporting that a male was hit by a car and the suspect vehicle fled the scene in the area of Willow Ave. and South St. in the City of Rialto. Officers from the Rialto Police Department responded to the scene and located the victim severely injured and lying in the roadway. Paramedics from the Rialto Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital.
The Rialto Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is conducting the investigation. The suspect vehicle has been identified as a silver 2003-2009 2-door Infinity G35 with passenger side front end damage.
