Suspect Arrested for Mail Theft and Drug Paraphernalia. 
On May 22, 2021 at approximately 2:08AM, an Arcadia Police Officer made a traffic stop on a suspicious vehcile in the area of Alta Oaks Drive and Grandview Ave.
During the investigation, the officer located stolen mail and two glass pipes used for ingesting methamphetamines. The recovered stolen mail was not from Arcadia, but from surrounding areas.
The suspect was arrested and booked at the Arcadia Police Department Jail Facility. During the booking process it was learned that the suspect had been recently arrested for similar charges, as well as a prior conviction for mail theft.
We continue to remind our residents and surrounding community to remain vigilant and collect your mail as promptly as possible. Don't leave mail in your mailbox giving thieves the opportunity to steal it.
