Advisory

Weapon Violation

On Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 6:58PM, Middleton Police Officers responded to multiple reports of a disturbance involving 13 people in the 7500 block of Rohlich Ct.  Initial reports included a female armed with a handgun, vehicles arriving and leaving at high rates of speed, and active fighting with individuals armed with baseball bats and golf clubs.  Mutual-aid assistance was requested from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and Madison Police Department.

When officers arrived, there was an active disturbance involving several individuals.  There were no reported injuries.  Multiple witnesses described a female pointing a handgun at other individuals while making threatening statements.  Middleton officers and detectives obtained a search warrant for a nearby apartment unit.  Officers located a firearm matching the description of the handgun the female reportedly brandished.

Sheronda D. Lash, 44, of Milwaukee, was arrested for recklessly endangering safety and felon in possession of a firearm, both felonies.  Lash was transported and booked into the Dane County Jail.

The Middleton Police Department thanks the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and Madison Police Department for their assistance.
