SUSPECT(S): Jessica Modawell, age 38, a resident of San Diego County
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, Fontana deputies responded to an attempted vehicle burglary which just occurred in the 19000 block of Valley Boulevard, the unincorporated Bloomington. The victim said a female, later identified as Jessica Modawell, tried to forcibly enter his vehicle. The victim flagged down the Watch Commander who found Modawell in the middle of the roadway. She walked away from him but was apprehended without incident. Modawell was positively identified as the suspect and deputies found evidence Modawell attempted to forcibly enter the victim’s locked vehicle. Modawell was uncooperative with deputies and was booked into West Valley Detention Center for PC 664/459- Attempted Vehicle Burglary.
