Heavy rains cause road closures 
Due to the heavy rains we are getting today, several roadways have been or could soon be closed.
Roads currently closed due to high water:
Ash Street between Independence and Bradley.
Roads that could soon be closed if heavy rains continue:
Locust Street near Jefferson
2100 block of Orchard Road
Independence Street at Mechanic
MO 7 Hwy at Orchard Road
(These areas currently are seeing high water but are drivable)
Please use caution if traveling today and always remember to avoid driving through water running over road ways.
