SUSPECT(S): Patrick Jimenez, 30 years old male resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at approximately 4:39 p.m., deputies assigned to Yucaipa Station’s Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) initiated a traffic stop on a blue Honda sedan driven by Patrick Jimenez. Jimenez had an active in county warrant for evading a peace officer. Jimenez yielded near the intersection of Oak Glen Road and Yucaipa Blvd. in the city of Yucaipa. Jimenez was placed under arrest for the warrant and found to be in possession of a polymer 80 semi-automatic pistol, a loaded high capacity magazine, black tar heroin, and drug paraphernalia.
A search warrant was served at his residence, in the 33800 block of McKenny Place in the city of Yucaipa. Inside the residence methamphetamine, black tar heroin, and additional drug paraphernalia was located. Jimenez is a convicted felon and is not allowed to possess firearms or ammunition. Jimenez was transported to Central Detention Center where he was booked for his warrant and additional charges.
