UPDATE: Reference May 27th homicide investigation 
UPDATE:
Michael Wilson (40 years of age, W/M out of Terre Haute, In) has been located and charged with murder and auto theft, in reference to the homicide investigation earlier in the day on Carlisle St in southern Vigo County. Wilson is in the custody of the Vigo County Jail, after being located in Owen County. This investigation is ongoing.
We would like to thank the community for the various tips we received throughout the day. We also extend our gratitude to other agencies who assisted in the investigation including Owen County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana DNR, Terre Haute Police Department, Indiana State Police, Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office, and Vigo County Coroner’s Office.
Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with the Wilson family.
