* Until 900 AM CDT Friday.
* At 904 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kansas City, Liberty, Excelsior Springs, Kearney, Sugar Creek, Lawson, Pleasant Valley, Glenaire, Crystal Lakes, Missouri City, Excelsior Estates, River Bend, Woods Heights, Rayville, Mosby, Homestead, Prathersville, Elmira and Knoxville.
* AFFECTED AREAS: CLAY, MO ... RAY, MO
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
