Deputies arrested Robert Hatch of Needles for robbery and domestic violence; he is being held on $100,000 bail

SUSPECT: Robert Hatch, 41 years old, resident of Needles

SUMMARY:
On Thursday, May 27, 2021, at approximately 12:20 p.m. deputies from the Colorado River Station were flagged down on the West Broadway overpass by a female who advised she had been assaulted and robbed of her personal belongings. The victim told deputies her boyfriend, later identified as Robert Hatch, knocked her to the ground and took a bag she was carrying that contained her personal belongings. The victim received minor injuries to her shoulder and legs. Hatch left the location with the bag prior to the deputies arriving. Hatch was later located on the 1900 block of Needles Hwy, where he was taken into custody for PC 211, Robbery and PC 273.5, Domestic Violence. Hatch was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. He is currently being held on $100,000 bond, pending a court hearing.
