Fire hydrant flushing will take place in Wyoming June 2-3 and June 9-10.  Streets west of Springfield Pike from Fleming Road South will be flushed on June 2-3.  Streets east of Springfield Pike and north of Fleming will be flushed June 9-10.  We apologize for any discolored water or pressure fluctuations you may experience during the flushing.  Water is safe to drink, but laundry should be done the day before or several days after flushing to avoid potentially damaging clothes. Regular flushing prevents the buildup of sediments and allows us to regularly check that all hydrants are working properly.
