* Until 530 PM EDT.
* At 221 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Oxford, Camden, Gratis, College Corner, Somerville, West Elkton, Jacksonburg, Muttonville, Lake Lakengren, Morning Sun, Sugar Valley, Wheatville, Hueston Woods State Park and Fairhaven. While little to no rain has occurred in northwest Butler County, runoff from the heavy rain in southern Preble county will flow south, including along Sevenmile Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.
