RECYCLING COLLECTION
STATEMENT FROM THE TOWNSHIP OF MAPLE SHADE
In response to Burlington County’s recent announcement regarding Recycling Collection, the Township of Maple Shade has put in place the below temporary solutions to the ongoing collection issue.
1. The Township has placed dumpsters at our Public Works Yard at 620 Cutler Avenue for residents to bring overflow recycling. These dumpsters will be emptied regularly by an outside contractor and available for our residents for the next couple of weeks.
2. The Township has also contracted with an outside hauler to collect curbside, recycling contained in the blue county issued carts.
Residents should plan on placing their blue cart at the curb no later than 6am on the collection day. Only items in the cart will be collected. Any overflow should be taken to the Public Works Yard on Cutler Ave.
We are hopeful regular collection will resume by the County beginning in July.
Residents are encouraged to sign up for Township Nixle notifications as well as the Recycle Coach App through Burlington County.
