On June 7, 2021, an officer from Forest City Police Dept. was dispatched to Wal-Mart in reference to a larceny that had just occurred.  The victim told the officer that a white female wearing a light purple shirt and burgundy pants had taken her recently purchased items from the jewelry counter and left with them. The suspect left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival as a passenger in a red Dodge minivan with a South Carolina tag of 8901JG.
