INCIDENT: Robbery, Criminal Threats, Felon in possession of Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Probation Violation
 
LOCATION: 12600 block of 2^nd Street, Yucaipa
 
SUSPECT: Alberto Antonio Fernandez, 27 years old, resident of Redlands
 
VICTIM(S): Confidential and People of the State of California
 
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, June 6, 2021, at 12:06 p.m., deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at Grandview Mobile Home Park on 2nd Street. Deputies arrived on scene and identified the suspect as Alberto Fernandez also known as “Kreeper”.  Fernandez is a documented North Side Redlands gang member.
 
Deputies determined on June 6, 2021 at 11:56 a.m., Fernandez drove to Grandview Mobile Home Park on 2nd Street and stopped to talk with the victim as she walked down one of the driveways. Fernandez pulled out a handgun and pushed the barrel into the victim’s chest. Fernandez took the victim’s property and fled in an older black Toyota pickup.
 
Deputies assigned to the Multiple Enforcement Team and Specialized Enforcement Division (SED) began to search for Alberto Fernandez. They had obtained an arrest warrant for Fernandez for the armed robbery and on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 11:54 a.m. Fernandez fled from deputies and was taken into custody in Cabazon. Fernandez was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm when he was arrested.
