Mandatory odd/even lawn watering restriction

Washington Township has implemented a mandatory odd/even lawn watering restriction, effective Memorial Day through Labor Day. Water customers with an address ending in an odd number are to water on odd calendar days and those with an address ending in an even number are to water on even calendar days. This action reduces the strain on our peak water usage and helps to avoid water rate increases.  Automatic lawn and/or landscaping irrigation is prohibited between the hours of 5:00am - 9:00 am and 5:00 pm - 9:00pm. This will also ensure adequate water pressure for potable use and fire protection. Strict enforcement is required to keep our operating pressure safe.
