* At 910 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Trained spotter reported multiple vehicles stranded in high water in the New Creek area, with several water rescues in progress. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Doppler radar. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
