* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northeastern Clay County in west central Missouri... Southeastern Clinton County in northwestern Missouri... Western Ray County in west central Missouri... North central Jackson County in west central Missouri...

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 357 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Leawood, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Clay, southeastern Clinton, western Ray and north central Jackson Counties, including the following locations... Knoxville, Mosby, Prathersville, Homestead, Rayville and Elmira. This includes Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 23 and 33.
