Suspects Rob a Food Cart Street Vendor, Attempt to Identify, 2900blk Oakwood Ave., Lynwood
Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department Century Station are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects who is wanted for a Strong-Armed Robbery that occurred the 2900 block of Oakwood Avenue in the city of Lynwood, Sunday, June 6, 2021 at approximately 6:25 p.m.
The victim was walking on the street pushing a food cart. Suspects 1 through 4 exited a tan Buick four door sedan (unknown model and no license plates). The Suspects 1 through 4 approached the victim and ordered food.
As the victim was preparing the food, Suspect 2 and Suspect 3 grabbed the victim’s arms. Suspect 1 removed the victim's fanny pack. Suspect 1 then punched the victim on the left side of her face. Suspect 2 and Suspect 3 then kicked the victim in the stomach and lower body area.
Following the robbery, Suspects 1 through 4 entered the tan Buick 4 door sedan that was driven by Suspect 5. The suspect vehicle drove southbound on State Street from Oakwood Avenue and out of view.
The suspects, were identified as follows: Suspect 1 female Black, 13 to 17 years old with tattoo of a crown above her right eyebrow; Suspect 2 female Black, 13 to 17 years old; Suspect 3 female Black, 13-17 years old; Suspects 4 female Black, 13-17 years old; Suspect 5 male Black, 30-40 years old and driver of vehicle.
