City Portola Hills Soil Page Updated 
Baldwin and Sons continues to remove contaminated soil from its Portola Hills construction site. The work, and associated odor, is being monitored by Baldwin consultants, a City consultant, and the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
Baldwin estimates the work will take until at least the week of June 21. The City requested the developer cap the site at night and weekends with plastic and an odor-reducing spray in an effort to keep the odor at a minimum.
