On Friday, June 11, 2021 hours at approximately 0843 hours, Readington Township Police received a 911 call about a vehicle being driven on Rt. 22 east with two missing tires.  Patrol Officers located the vehicle and stopped it at Rt. 22 east near Washington Dr.  The vehicle was operated by Lucas Traupmann of Whitehouse Sta., NJ. During the investigation, the officers determined that Traupmann was intoxicated and he was placed under arrest.  Traupmann was a charged with: DWI, Careless Driving and Failure to exhibit credentials.  Traupmann was released from police custody pending a future court appearance.  The filing of charges is a merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
