Severe weather causing hazardous driving conditions 
The National Weather Service issued a severe weather alert for Brown County until 10:45 P.M. That storm created severe damage to trees and electrical lines throughout the city. Brown County Communications, local police departments, fire departments, forestry and WPS are working diligently to handle these issues as quickly as possible. In the interim, please AVOID travel unless necessary and if necessary exercise EXTREME caution. Trees are blocking roadways and multiple traffic lights are not funcitoning. If you come across a traffic light not functioning, stop at the intersection to clear it with caution.
