Thieves Stealing Chevy Malibu Steering Wheels 
Thieves are stealing airbags including the entire steering wheel. The target vehicle locally is the 2017-2021 Chevrolet Malibu. Harper Woods and surrounding cities have received theft reports between May 4-11 and again between June 9-15. Currently there is no suspect information, but Harper Woods Detectives and the A.C.T.I.O.N. Team (Arresting Car Thieves in Our Neighborhood) are actively investigating. There has not been an isolated location for the thefts, but incidents are reported to have occurred between 10 PM and 6 AM when owners last observed their vehicles intact.
